At Sussex County EMS CISM, we are dedicated to ensuring the mental health of our personnel, their families, and our network remains paramount.

Some of the services our team offers:

• Crisis Mangement Briefings: short  presentations conducted in tandem with administrative or management personnel to provide operational and mental health information following a critical incident;

• Critical Incident Defusings: post-operation stress management and awareness information;

• Critical Incident Stress Debriefings: specific, organized 7-phase, small group, supportive crisis intervention session;

• One on One Peer Support/Coaching: both in the field, on scenes, and post incident;

• Spiritual Support: Chaplins are also certified ICISF in individual and group crisis intervention;

• Family/Significant Other support: Counseling and information as needed;

•  Mental Health Professional Support and referral.

Our team trains regularly in all facets of crisis intervention and remains current with established ICISF ideals and information.
